ENTRIES are still open for this year’s Minehead Raft Race.
The Raft Race is one of the highlights of Minehead’s annual RNLI HarbourFest event, bringing people together to celebrate our coastline and raise valuable funds for the lifeboat.
This year’s event will take place on the weekend of August 13-14, with kayak races on the Saturday before the traditional raft race on the Sunday, which has a fancy dress version and a more formal race.
Family entertainment, stalls, attractions, watersports taster sessions and lots of fun things to see and do plus Drew Haddon from Tone FM will lead the weekend as MC and the Old Ship Aground provides an amazing line up of bands and live music from 5pm each day.
Entries are still open for Raft Race and for the Fatyak races.
