A SUCCESSFUL fete in Cotford St Luke has raised £1,000 for Dene Barton Community Hospital.
The annual event, which took place on Saturday (September 24), was organised by the Friends of Dene Barton who have been supporting the hospital for over five years.
There was plenty of fun for all the family at Cotford St Luke School, where the event was held, including cakes, a raffle, games and more.
Debbie Millar from the Friends, said: "On Saturday, we had a wonderful number of visitors to the Fete representing all the generations.
"The 'Tremendous Tombola' and raffles did particularly well.
"The queue for the Lucky Straw game was unexpected but continued on and off throughout the afternoon - a great success.
"Our chairmen, Allan Sutton, thanks all those who supported and attended our fundraiser for the hospital. It was described by one attendee as a lovely party."
