VISITORS to King’s Hall School at the enjoyed a host of Christmas shopping and treats as the Rural Living Show took place.

The popular annual event has become a firm fixture in the run-up to Christmas.

The show featured plenty of work from people around Somerset and further afield, and there was something for everyone to enjoy with over 130 stalls offering a gifts galore.

There was plenty on offer for guests to purchase including jewellery, glass, pottery, fabrics and much more. There was a also a food hall with plenty of tasty treats on offer with everything on offer from pies and sausages to bread and cakes and chocolates.

If that wasn’t enough, traders also held demonstrations of traditional crafts both on Saturday and Sunday with basket making, candlemaking and much more.

Louise Walker, one of the show’s organisers, said: “It was a brilliant weekend and we dodged a bullet with the weather.

“Next year is our 25th anniversary so we’re working on something quite special.”

The nominated charity for the show was the Children’s Hospice South West.

A spokesperson for the event said: “It was a lovely weekend and the event went really well.”
