A 12-HOUR Christmas fair was held in aid of the Taunton Association for the Homeless (TAH).
On Friday, November 25, Close House in Hatch Beauchamp was open from 10am until 10pm for visitors to come and get in the festive spirit.
Organiser of the event, Freeny Hammick, said: “It was such a lovely atmosphere and so many people turned up.
“We aren’t too sure how much was raised because we have handed it over to TAH to count but we think it was quite a lot.
“The event quickly turned into a bit of a party in the end with lots of people attending.”
The aim of the market was to get visitors feeling Christmassy as well as to raise awareness for the homeless.
A group of people from the event have now planned to take part in the annual TAH big sleepout that will take place next summer.
