A MEMORIAL football match for a young man who died suddenly on his stag do in Poland has raised £1,050 for a charity that supported his family.
Gary Edwards - then aged 28, from Staplegrove, died in July 2015 in Sopot barely a month before he was due to get married.
It is believed he had an undiagnosed rare but serious heart condition called Brugada.
This month's football match at Taunton Town's Wordsworth Drive ground raised funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
CRY supports bereaved people and young people diagnosed with cardiac conditions.
