TAUNTON is the seventh most popular town in the UK for coach passenger arrivals, it has emerged.
National Express reckons - quite rightly of course- that the county town is so popular as it has bundles to offer visitors.
Last year's figures placed Milton Keynes at the top of the list, with Taunton ahead of Fareham, Woking and Preston.
Chris Hardy, managing director of National Express Coach, said: “Taunton is a perennially popular destination for coach travellers and with its fascinating heritage, scenic parks and appealing architecture it’s perhaps not difficult to see why the town proving is such a draw”.
