A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a crash on Law Lane.
Police were called at 7.52am to the on Law Lane between the Drayton junction and Muchelney junction in Drayton.
Two people were involved in the crash and one has been taken to Musgrove Park Hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at 7.52am to a two vehicle crash in Drayton.
"The road was icy at the time of the crash.
"One of the drivers was taken to hospital as a precaution and the other driver had no injuries from the crash.
"A road block has been in place since 8.15am while recovery of the vehicles is organised.
"Recovery should happen shortly."
A spokesman for South West Ambulance Service said:"We were called to reports of a crash at 7.45am.
"We sent a rapid response team and ambulance crew.
"Two patients one from each vehicle were injured.
"One was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital but it is not believed to be serious."
