'Rabbit ate my trousers!' -999 operator's excuse for not wearing the right unidorm
WHAT excuse would you give if you turned up for work wearing inappropriate clothes?
Well, we've all heard the schoolboy excuse "the dog ate my homework".
How about this one from an Avon and Somerset Police switchboard operator who apparently clocked in wearing the wrong trousers.
Her excuse was: "My rabbit ate my uniform trousers!"
She'll be a bit red-faced today after her colleague @LisaPolice999 tweeted the little episode.
