DOZENS of people remembered their loved ones and raised some vital funds for charity over the Christmas period.
Staff at B. Gibbs Funeral Services in Chard organised a memory tree in its office, so people could pay their respects to loved ones no longer around by placing a star on the tree with a little star.
As part of this, people made a donation to St. Margaret's Hospice, and a total of £546.28 was raised, with £200 of that coming from the company.
A spokesman for the company said: "Barry and all at B. Gibbs Funeral services would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who placed a star on the tree and to all those who made such generous donations."
