CHILDREN going for Christmas rides on a miniature railway helped raise £416 towards a sensory garden at Creech St Michael Primary School.
The money came from donations during Taunton Model Engineers Santa Steamings in Vivary Park and recreation ground in Creech St Michael over the festive period.
The group's David Hartland is pictured handing a cheque to head teacher Jan McCarthy with a group of Creech pupils - and Robin, the petrol-hydraulic locomotive on the village miniature railway.
