Retired Taunton GP Dr David Bird.
RETIRED Taunton GP David Bird is turning back the clock by running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday week (March 12).
It will be his first race over the distance for 14 years and 34 years since he ran the London Marathon.
These days Dr Bird, who will be raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, prefers to take part in the 5k Park Run in Longrun Meadow on Saturday mornings.
He said: "Signing up again for a half marathon seemed like a good idea at the time."
