STUDENTS from Minehead were visiting London when the terror attacks took place.
Year 8 students from Minehead Middle School were on a trip to London when a terrorist mowed down dozens of people on Westminster Bridge and tried to storm the palace.
Four people, including police officer Keith Palmer, 48, and the attacker, were killed in the attack, with dozens more recovering in hospital.
It is believed that the pupils were at their hotel at the time of the attack, with the school posting on social media that everyone was safe.
Our Y8 children who are on the London trip are all safe. They are at the hotel and have not gone into central London.

Primary school pupils from Bridgwater were also in the capital at the time and had just watched parliamentary speeches. They were heading back to the central chamber when the attack unfolded, and they were kept in the chamber by the security services.
