Crews called to overnight car fire in Watchet
A SMOKE-filled car saw a fire crew called to Watchet in the hours of the morning.
One fire engine from Williton station was sent to Anchor Street at around 3.50am this morning (March 26).
One appliance was mobilised to a report of smoke in a car.
The car was well alight when crews arrived. Breathing apparatus and a compressed air foam jet were used to extinguish the fire, along with a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
