A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after a dramatic chase across Somerset.
Billy Lee Eggerton, from Hereford, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking after a Ford Transit tipper van was stolen from a property in Carey Way, Somerton.
Police were called on April 20 at around 11pm to reports of a vehicle theft.
It is understood officers tracked the van across the Mendip, Sedgemoor and the Taunton Deane districts of Somerset before it was stopped.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed a man had been charged and is set to appear in court.

Eggerton is due to appear at Taunton Magistrates Court on May 15.
