THIS is the scene that greeted people in a children's play area this morning (Tuesday).
Damage has been caused to a number of pieces of equipment in the play area on the Kinglake development in Bishop's Hull.
One of the tyre swings appears to have been ripped down, while rigging and plastic covering has also been vandalised.
A villager, who asked not to be named, said: "The damage appears to have been caused by vandals.
"It's so annoying because the equipment is there for the enjoyment of children and there is no good reason for it."
