A SPECIAL mini-auction is being held during this year's run of the JH Variety Show at Bridgwater Town Hall.

During the interval of the show on Friday, June 2 a Clemmie Clutch Handbag donated by Mulberry and worth more than £500 will by up for grabs, while during the Saturday, June 3 show, a ball signed by the 2017 Manchester United team will go under the hammer.

Both items come with letters of authenticity and the auctions will also include autographs from the cast of Eastenders, the ITN news team, Peter Andre and many more.

This year's show will include a fire eater, excerpts from the Sister Act and Matilda musicals, comedy sketches and musical tributes to The Beatles and more.

The JH Variety Performers have been putting on shows for 17 years and have raised more than £100,000 for the Brainwave Children's Charity and other local charities.

Tickets are available from the Bridgwater Carnival Centre from Tuesday, May 2 at £8 each or you can purchase a table for eight for £60.

All proceeds will be donated to the Brainwave Childrens Charity at Huntworth.
