TAUNTON Farmers' Market is today celebrating its 18th birthday.
The popular event, which takes place on the High Street every Thursday, features produce from around Somerset.
From cakes and bread to preserves and flowers and meat, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
To mark the special occasion, the first 100 visitors enjoyed a goodie bag, there was also a free cake and juice for shoppers to enjoy.
Juliet Hayes from Minehead has been coming to the market for four years.
She sells home-made cakes, specialising in gluten, wheat and dairy free.
She said: "It's a lovely market, there's a real buzz today and the people are lovely."
Sarah Hunter from The Barley Sugar Bakehouse in Crewkerne has been coming to the market for five years.
She said: "There's a good atmosphere here today, the sun is out so people can enjoy sitting in the sun eating some cake.
"We've got lots of regular customers now, it's a nice market."
Donna from Ellis Farm Pork has also been coming to the market for five years.
She said: "The market is great it's a great way for people to come and buy some wonderful local produce and there is definitely a demand of wanting to buy local goods here in Taunton."
