Vehicle fire on the M5 between Taunton and Wellington
A VEHICLE fire caused some panic for one driver on the M5.
Crews from Taunton were called to the hard shoulder on the M5 southbound between junctions 25 and 26 for Taunton and Wellington at 7.03am this morning (May 3).
On arrival, crews confirmed there had been a small fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle that was already out prior to their arrival.
They made sure the vehicle was safe and left duty of care with the owner.
