Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue called to Creedwell Orchard, Milverton

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews were called to Creedwell Orchard around 7.30pm last night (May 13). 

One engine from Wiveliscombe, one from Wellington, and one from Taunton were sent to the property. 

On arrival, crews confirmed the fire was on the second floor flat. 

There was 25 per cent fire damage and 100 per cent smoke damage to the living room, and 15 per cent smoke damage to the rest of the flat. 

Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two safety jets, a thermal image camera and a short extension ladder to deal with the fire.
