A CALL centre operator has announced it is creating up to 100 new jobs in Taunton.

EMCAS says the vacancies are in response to the growing demand for its financial claims management services.

The roles are a mix of trainee and experiences sales positions.

The new staff will offer to help victims of mis-sold financial products such as PPI and endowment mortgages.

James Scarth, director of EMCAS, said: “In order to meet demand we’re welcoming hundreds of new staff, who have a passion for doing the right thing for our customers.

“Following a recent management buyout they’re joining at an exciting time in our transformation.

"We are providing extensive training to ensure our customers are provided with the best experience possible - which our Taunton team is an integral part of."

EMCAS claims to have to date helped 724,000 consumers look into their mis-sold financial products such as savings and investments, pensions and endowment mortgages.
