CUSTOMERS at the Sainsbury's store in Billet Street, Taunton, are being asked to help the company choose a charity to support over the coming year.
Store manager Julie Archard is calling for shoppers to vote for a deserving cause as part of Sainsbury's Local Charity of the Year scheme.
Customers can nominate a charity by Sunday (May 28), when three will be shortlisted and customers will be able to vote in store or online from June 12 to 25.
Ms Archard said: “There are so many fantastic charities in the local area which do brilliant work in our community.
"We’ve had a great year working in partnerships with Open Door Taunton, and we’re excited to be offering a new charity the chance to receive support from our customers and colleagues.”
