FOR those of your wondering why there's not been a lot of action going on at the new animal hospital being built between Taunton and Wellington, we've got some answers.
There has been a bit of a delay in the delivery of some materials which has resulted in a pause in the build.
Eric Chant, director of Mount Vets Ltd, said: "This is due to a delay in the delivery of roof trusses.
"The design of the building requires particularly large trusses and these can only be fabricated by one company.
"We were expecting delivery last Wednesday but apparently an equipment failure meant that the company were unable to load them.
"I have been advised that delivery has been rescheduled for this coming Tuesday (May 30) and we are expecting to see site activity recommence then."
