TWO people have been injured after a car crashed into a tree.
The A358 in Crowcombe was blocked in both directions after the crash near Round Pool Lane around 3.40pm (May 30) but the road has now reopened.
Two women were treated by an ambulance on the scene with neck and back injuries and were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
Devon and Somerset Fire are rescue crews were called to the crash.
Crews confirmed a single vehicle crash where all casualties were clear and free of the vehicle.
Crews made the vehicle safe and used an environmental pack to clear a spill on the highway.
Avon and Somerset Police officers closed the road just after 3.40pm and asked people to find alternative routes home.
