A THIRD body is to be exhumed from a cemetery in Somerset as part of an investigation into a number of deaths at a care home.
Fred Green, aged 81, who is buried at Kingweston Cemetery, was a resident at Parkfields home in Butleigh, near Glastonbury, which was closed in March.
His body is due to be exhumed tonight.
Today, Mr Green's family said: "Fred was a well known and well liked local man who died at the age of 81.
"He was born in Keinton Mandeville and moved to Kingweston in 1967 with his wife Esther and four children.
"He was widowed in 1980 and remained in Kingweston for the rest of his life.
"Fred died on January 6, 2006, leaving his four children, 10 grand children and two great grand children.
"He is greatly missed by all his family and friends."
In June, the bodies of Nellie Pickford, 89, and Marion Alder, 79, were exhumed for examination.
A man and woman arrested in connection with the investigation remain on police bail pending further enquiries.
