Avon and Somerset Police appeal after man was bitten by dog in Tonedale, Wellington
A MAN has been attacked by a dog in a field near Wellington.
Avon and Somerset Police said that the incident happened around 11am yesterday morning (June 19) in Tonedale near the Fox Bros site.
The dog is said to be a Rottweiler which bit a man on the leg.
It is believed that the man did not require medical attention.
Witnesses are now being sought.
