PLANS for shops, work spaces, restaurants, flats and public areas on a riverside car park in Taunton have been given the go-ahead by Taunton Deane Borough Council.
Taunton Deane Borough Council's planning committee approved the plans subject to conditions at a meeting today (June 25).

The outline plans for Coal Orchard, off Taunton town centre will see St James Street swimming pool demolished to make way for 36 new homes and restaurants, cafes and workspaces on the riverside.
