WALKERS: Blake School pupils at the start of the Clarks Trail
STUDENTS from a Bridgwater school put their best feet forward during a 50-mile fundraising walk in 1997.
The event raised money for a special Environmental Day at Blake School and saw children complete a route in the shape of a C, as the event was sponsored by Somerset shoe firm, Clarks.
The money would go towards improving the school and grounds.
A school spokesman said the event had been a great success and our picture shows pupils and organisers at the starting point of the Clarks Trail, at North Curry.
