A BIRD spotted just twice before in Europe was released back into the wild after being found in an exhausted state in East Huntspill.
Experts from Secret World nursed the Indian Yellow albatross - one of only 73,000 left in the world - and released it at Brean Down, where it had landed after a flight from the South Atlantic.
The bird was found by birdlover Hugh Harris after it wondered onto his Eat Huntspill driveway looking exhausted and he notified experts.
Pictured is Simon Kidner from Secret World letting the bird go.
