WITH Puriton Flower Show edging ever closer, villagers are being urged to get their entries ready for this year's event.
The Flower Show is being held in the Village Hall on Saturday, August 12 at 2pm, with several new classes.
By popular request the Burnham and Highbridge Town Band will once again be performing on the playing field and there will also be a display by Avon Owls.
The car boot sale takes place on the field and cost £5 for cars and £6 for vans.
Heather Strawbridge OBE will be presenting trophies at 4.15pm, and at the end an auction of surplus produce will be held.
