STUDENTS from Haygrove School took part in an annual sports day event.
With the field events completed earlier this month, Stephens’ House was hoping to maintain its lead position and claim the House Trophy for the 2nd year in a row. Stephens' House was declared the winner after the Sports Day that included inter-house team events and track events they did just that, with Hargreaves House coming in as runners-up.
A number of individual records were also broken on the day with Year 8 student’s Max Bryant and Meg Taylor taking nearly one second off the previous 150M records and Jamie Close and Matt Williams in Year 9 beating the existing records in the 200m and 300m races respectively
