TWO women were dramatically rescued by emergency services after getting stuck on a rock as the tide was rapidly rising.
Minehead RNLI, Watchet Coastguard, Minehead Fire Station and South Western Ambulance Service attended the call this morning (Sunday, September 10) after reports two females were trapped on a rock groyne near to Butlins, Minehead.
Crews veered down to the causality as the tide was rapidly rising.
One crews member was put on the groyne and assisted the team walk the two off the rocks.
They were both taken in an ambulance to be checked over.
