THERE'S still time to enter a white collar charity boxing challenge to help people get fit and raise funds for a good cause.

The Vantage Charity Boxing Challenge, VCBC, aims to give men and women of all ages and walks of life to have a platform to raise money for local charity,

Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, while at the same time getting in good shape.

Two previous events earlier this year raised a combined £23,014.41.

Founder Ty Temel said: “It truly is an honour to be able to provide a platform for people to come together and raise money for this incredible cause. It’s remarkable just how much support we’ve had from both local businesses and competitors.

"Together we have raised a life changing amount of money so far and this is just the beginning.”

No previous experience is needed and eight weeks free training is included with boxing coaches at Fit2Box Gym to prepare contestants for a boxing match against someone of similar age, weight and ability at The O2 Academy Bournemouth.

The next event, VCBC 3, will be held on Saturday, December 2.

Entry deadline is Sunday, September 24. Training camp begins on Monday, October 2 at Fit2Box Gym to ensure participants are ready in time for the match.
