A WOMAN trapped in her car had to be released by firefighters following a two car crash in Crowcombe.
Firefighters from Nether Stowey and Williton were called out to the incident at just after 5pm yesterday (Tuesday, October 3).
On arrival the team found a female casualty medically trapped in her car and extricated her using hydraulic cutting equipment to the remove the roof from the vehicle.
A spokesman for the Ambulance service confirmed that two patients were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with minor injuries.
