A WEEKEND-long celebration of the best of Westcountry food and drink came to Taunton recently.

Scores of people attended the even on Castle Green after it was launched at a dinner in The Castle Hotel by celebrity chef Michael Caines.

There was also a second dinner on the Saturday evening with four Great British Menu chefs – Dominic Chapman, Josh Eggleton, Jude Kereama and Emily Watkins.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday there was a range of smaller events, including sausage making, cupcake making and more.
