POLICE have warned the public not to approach a former prisoner who has connections to Taunton.
They are looking for 36-year-old Sean Gower, from Bristol, after he failed to comply with the conditions of his licence put in place following his release from prison.
He’s previously been convicted of a wounding offence.
Gower is white, about 6ft 1in tall, of slim build, with scruffy, mousey coloured hair. He only has one eye and has a finger missing.
He often sleeps rough and has connections with Bridgwater, Bristol city centre, Yeovil, Taunton and Devon.
He occasionally uses public transport.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said that anyone seeing Gower should not approach him, but call 999 and give the call handler the reference number 5217136613.
