A FORMER village primary school and school house have been sold and could be converted into homes.
Burrowbridge School closed in 2011 due to falling numbers, with the pupil roll down to just 12.
The premises, which dates from the 18th Century, were temporarily re-opened as a flood relief centre during the severe flooding on the Somerset Levels in 2014.
However, the floods did not affect the former school buildings, which comprise a two-storey house and single-storey school and has been sold by Colliers International and Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
The building was sold on behalf of the Diocese of Bath and Wells and local trustees to an undisclosed buyer.
The site has planning permission to be converted into two homes.
