WELLINGTON is ready to remember as the WI has covered the park in yarn poppies.
The beautiful photos were sent to the Somerset Camera Club by Carlie Tadgell.
A two minute silence will be observed in Wellington Town Centre on the Saturday, November 11, at 11am.
Shortly before 11am mayor Councillor Gary James, together with the president of the Royal British Legion's Wellington Branch, will lead town councillors, officers, representatives of the Royal British Legion and Wellington School CCF in procession from the town council offices to the centre of town.
The Last Post will be played on the bugle to mark the beginning of The Two Minute Silence at 11am.
After the silence Reveille will be played.
A spokesman said: "Both the council and the legion are grateful to Wellington School CCF for providing the excellent buglers and standard bearers.
