A crash in the centre of Taunton caused congestion across the town.
Emergency services were directing traffic out of the town centre following the incident near the Market House.
The crash happen at around 9am.
It is believed to be between a car and a pedestrian.
Two NHS A&E nurses pulled over to help after the incident before the ambulance arrived.
Travel Somerset said the crash happened on the roundabout with Fore Street, East Street and Hammet Street.
Traffic was diverted via East Reach and St James Street.
