A SATURDAY girl who worked her way up from the shop floor to take over the business that gave her a chance as a teenager is selling up.

Sian Smythe has decided to call it a day at bridalwear shop Champagne and Strawberries - and it's all because of her two babies.

Sian, who has owned the shop in Riverside Place, Taunton, with her mum, Sandy Singleton, for 12 years, is closing down on Saturday, December 16.

And if you're getting married any time soon, there are plenty of bargains to be snapped up before then, with deals of up to 75 per cent off.

Sian said: "The shop's been here for 30 years.

"I started here as a Saturday girl and when the chance came up to take it on, it was a dream come true.

"But I was young then without a husband and two babies aged under two, which changes everything.

"My priorities have changed and I want to spend time with the children before they grow up too fast.

"The lease is up in four weeks, so we've decided to close, although it will be sad to see it go.

"I'd like ot say thank you very much to our customers for their support, to the staff and everyohne who's been part of it."
