TRAGIC: Lisa Marie Thornton from Burnham-on-Sea died of multiple stab wounds
A MAN has been charged with the murder of a woman in Burnham-on-Sea.
Police said 42-year-old Owen Pellow, of Berrow Road, was charged with the murder of Lisa Marie Thornton, 36, who died after suffering multiple stab wounds on Thursday morning (November 23).
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We have tonight charged a man with the murder of a woman in Burnham-on-Sea yesterday morning (Thursday 23 November).
"Owen Pellow, aged 42, of Berrow Road, has been charged with the murder of Lisa Marie Thornton, aged 36.
"A post mortem confirmed that she died of multiple stab wounds.
"The incident happened at a property in Berrow Road.
"He is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Saturday)."
