FIRE: Crews were called out at 5.48am this morning
A CAR has been destroyed in an arson attack in Taunton.
Firefighters attended the scene on Cheddon Lawns in Cheddon Fitzpaine at 5.48am this morning (Monday, December 4).
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "On arrival our crews confirmed there was one vehicle well alight and got to work using breathing apparatus and extinguishing it with a hose reel jet.
"The cause of this fire was deliberate and Avon and Somerset Police have been informed."
