WALLACE’S famous Christmas pork pies filled with cubes of turkey and whole cranberries are about to hit Taunton Farmers’ Market and they are way cooler than a pair of socks.

The handmade pork pies only appear at Christmas and this year there will be 100’s of them ready and waiting for shoppers to snap them up.

The pies are the creation of Graeme Wallace who owns and runs Wallace’s Farm which is based at Hill Farm, Hemyock, Cullompton in Devon.

Talking about his pie, Graeme is also chairman of Taunton farmers’ market committee said: “It uses cubes of turkey breast and whole cranberries.

"So when you cut through it, you have the white of the turkey meat, the red of the cranberries and the pink of the pork pie.

Somerset County Gazette:

“I will be making there sizes of pie, medium which costs £20 and would feed 6; a large costs £40 and feeds 12 and a giant which costs £60 and would feed 20.

“I produce pork pies all year around. I rear the pigs, used the meat, make the pastry and cook the pies.

“My customers love the pork pies as they have no additives, they are homemade and contain herbs.

“I hope they will love this new special Christmas pie.”

You can buy them from Graeme at Taunton Market on December 21.
