MYSTERY continues to surround the sudden death of a 28-year-old man on New Year’s Eve.
Avon and Somerset Police has launched an investigation after the body of a man was found at a property in Bishops Lydeard.
Police were called at about 10.20am on Sunday, December 31, to a property in Darby Way.
The death is being treated as unexplained, a police spokesman said.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called to Bishops Lydeard following the sudden death of a 28-year-old man.
“A forensic post mortem will be taking place today (Thursday, January 4), so it might be that we have a clearer indication as to how the deceased died.
“At this stage, the death is still being treated as unexplained.”
