A FAIR for people aged over 50 is coming to Taunton next month.

The Elderberry Fair will feature beauty and crafts, gin and wine tasting, health, cars, travel and more at Wellsprings Leisure Centre.

There will be a range of practical services, including community groups, socialising opportunities and wealth management companies.

Cream teas will be on offer, while entertainment will be provided by singers, dancers - and some surprises.

And the first 1,000 visitors at the fair, organised by businesswomen Trish Caller and Fran Carey, will receive goodie bags with discount vouchers.

Fran said: "I've wanted to host an over 50s show in Somerset for a number of years as I feel this is such an important demographic which is so often overlooked.

"I'm excited to bring together so many valued experts and Somerset talent under one roof for a fun-packed and informative day."

Trish said: "The event is a celebration of being over 50. Lots of fun is on offer on the day."

The Elderberry Fair is at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, Taunton, on Sunday, March 4, from 10am to 4pm. Entry is £2.
