TODAY (Monday) marks the 25th anniversary of the death of a rare white hind that attracted scores of admirers on the Quantock Hills.
Frank Clatworthy was among groups of photographers who used to enjoy snapping the animal.
It was killed during a hunt on the hills on February 19, 1993.
Mr Clatworthy said: "It was sadly pulled down by dogs.
"I was lucky enough to have photographed her on numerous occasions.
"She brought so much enjoyment to so many over the years of her life that was ended prematurely."
White harts are actually red deer with a condition known as leucism, which causes their skin to lose its natural colour.
The White Hart is among the top three pub names in the country, including several dotted around Somerset.
