CARLEY Elaine Amelia Bussell, 36, of no fixed address, has been handed a community order after admitting eight counts of theft at Taunton Magistrates' Courts.
She was also fined £100 with an £85 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £85 costs for the offences committed in Taunton.
She pleaded guilty to stealing:
- a £35 DVD player from Sainsbury's, in Billet Street;
- two vacuum cleaners and a cooker appliance valued at £289.97 from The Range;
- meat and washing products from the Co-op, in Priorswood Place;
- clothing from Sports Direct;
- fragrances from Boots;
- a frying pan from Wilkinson's;
- a coat worth £79 from Marks & Spencer;
- meat from Co-op stores.

Paul John Bishop, 56, sent a false message to cause annoyance, inconvenience of needless anxiety, nine weeks prison suspended for 18 months, £85 compensation, £115 victim surcharge. (G).
Thomas Christopher Cooney, 46, of Albemarle Road, Taunton, speeding, £100 fine, £30 victim surcharge, three points. (G).
Sophie Elizabeth Fletcher, 33, of Champford Mews, Wellington, damaged a door, restraining order, £120 fine, £170 compensation, £50 costs. (G).
