TWO cars and a lorry have been involved in a crash at Washford Cross near Williton this morning.
There have been reports of delays for traffic in the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Firefighters and ambulance personnel were called out to the scene at 6.38am this morning (Wednesday, February 28).
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed: "This is a road traffic collision involving two cars and a lorry with one person trapped."
Crews worked to extricate the casualty and administer medical assistance and he has been left in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed one person was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with a head injury.
Traffic along the A39 and B3190 is reportedly moving well as of 9.40am.
