SOMERSET all-rounder Peter Trego spent last night (Wednesday) handing out hot food and drink to those sleeping rough in his home town of Weston-super-Mare as the big freeze continues.
Trego, who was joined by his brother Sam,Β tweeted his intentions during the afternoon and praised the assistance of the Grand Pier at Weston for their help in sourcing supplies.
During a video posted later in the evening (below), Trego said: "Thank you to everyone who has followed what we were trying to do.
"We did a good thing and it was appreciated."
