CRASH: Ambulance staff heading to the scene of a crash on the M5 between Taunton and Wellington
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a crash on the M5 between Taunton and Wellington.
South Western Ambulance Service were called at 2.13pm today (March 2) to reports of a two car crash on the M5 northbound between Taunton and Wellington.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 2.13pm to reports of a two vehicle RTC.
"We attended with one ambulance and one doctor.
"A female patient suffered a head injury and was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital for treatment."
Traffic is being temporarily held on the M5 while recovery takes place.
