A WOMAN has appealed for the owner of £10 left in a Taunton cash machine to come forward and claim their money.

The honest shopper discovered someone had left a £10 note hanging out of an ATM at the Morrisons supermarket, in Priory Bridge Road, this afternoon (Thursday, March 8).

"There was an elderly gentleman at the machine next to me, but I didn't think anything of it," said the woman, who did not wish to be named.

"Then I heard a beeping and looked around and there was £10 still in the machine."

She said she handed the money in to staff at the store and urged the person to come forward and claim their cash.

"I know it's not a big deal," she said. "But £10 is £10 - it's a lot of money."

If you wish to claim the money, call in to the supermarket customer service desk.
